| St Oswalds Church is the centre of Grasmere village. A beautiful building whatever the weather. | |||
| Silver How - which is where I'm headed to. | |||
| Helm Crag (where I was on my last walk) and Seat Sandal. | |||
| Grasmere (lake) and Loughrigg Fell. | |||
| Helm Crag, Seat Sandal and Fairfield across the Vale of Grasmere. | |||
| Now at the summit of Silver How - and would you look at that... it's raining again. I think during the whole walk it only stopped for 5 minutes during the ascent. | |||
| Grasmere, Rydal Water and Loughrigg Fell from Silver How. | |||
| And the view in the opposite direction showing the Langdale Pikes cloud-free. | |||
| And the last photo showing the Vale of Grasmere just before I headed down. You can see the cloud level has descended onto Fairfield. | |||
