Route: Bowlees Visitor Centre - Gibsons Cave & Summergill Force Waterfall
The second half of todays waterfall walks took us to Gibsons Cave and Summerhill Force just a mile or so down the road from High Force where we were at earlier. The walk is short and simple and follows the beck north through trees to arrive at the cave and waterfall.

A large quarry just by the car park.

One of the smaller waterfalls just along the path.

Signs of old mine workings. Looks like there used to be a bridge across here to the mine.

A first look at Summerhill Force.

Up at the waterfall view point.

A long exposure (about half a second) of Summerhill Force.

A Tawney Owl up in the tree nearby.

A long exposure of the stream and waterfall.

Zooming in for another long exposure.
