Blue skies above the castle walls.

The sound of running water by the weir.

The spectacular ruins of Corfe Castle.

A wide shot of the ruins.

And again from higher up as I head up East Hill.

The village of Corfe Castle.

Zooming in on the church.

Corfe Castle from the viewpoint on East Hill.

The Swanage steam railway line.

The castle from Corfe Common.

Some of the houses and cottages around here are stunning.

Another view of the ruins.

This might not look like much but these earthworks are called The Rings. They form a Norman Ringwork Castle and was built shortly after Corfe Castle to siege it.

Beautiful castle ruins.
