Route: Bury to Clare Walk - Part 2
Somerton - Thurston Hall - Stansfield Hall - Upper Street - Kings Wood - Clare - Clare Country Park

The Bury to Clare walk is a 19 mile long trail from Nowton Park at Bury St Edmunds to the Historic Market town of Clare. Usually walked in a single day I have decided to split it into two (thanks to being dropped off and picked up - no public transport links) to film the route.

The Waterpump at Somerton.

Crossing the fields near Somerton Church.

Crops in flower.

Crossing the River Glem at Gallowgate Farm.

The spectacular timber framed house of Thurston Hall.

Open countryside.

A mill on the horizon.

A pond at Stansfield Hall.

Surrounded by the bright yellow of the Rapeseed.

The gentle descent into Clare.

The church in the centre of Clare.
