Route: Peddars Way & Norfolk Coast Path - Part 4
Sedgeford to Hunstanton

The last day of the Peddars Way merges with the first day along the Norfolk Coast Path. Once at the Coast you can either turn east and continue towards Cromer or turn west and head to Hunstanton first... I chose to head to Hunstanton first and complete the whole Norfolk Coast Path rather than miss off 2.5 miles of it.

The Magazine, a 17th Century Magazine Store.

Open countryside around the Peddars Way.

Beautiful cottages at Ringstead.

Stone houses in Ringstead.

The Gin Trap Inn.

Ringstead Church.

The Mill on the northern end of Ringstead.

Turning left off the road and its the first proper view of the Sea!

The last of the Poems along the trail.

And the post that marks the end of the Peddars Way. Im turning left to follow the 2.5 miles to Hunstanton.

46 Miles back to Knettishall Heath.

The Norfolk Coast Path east.

Vast dunes and the North Sea.

The path sticks to the Dunes to start with but the sand can be hard work so part can be walked on firmer ground nearer the sea.

The lookout station and Lighthouse at Hunstanton.

A beautiful memorial garden in the ruins of a chapel.

The ruins of St Edmunds Chapel.

Sunshine as we reach the amazing cliffs at Hunstanton.

We followed the beach to a shipwreck below the cliffs.

The wreck on the beach is about a 15 minute walk away but well worth visiting.

For more info on the wreck check out the video at the top of the page.

The remains of a medieval cross on the centre green by the Seafront.
