Innominate Tarn
Elevation: 528m (1733ft) Depth: 6ft Apx
Location: Haystacks
Innominate Tarn used to be named Loaf Tarn before the changeover. It is a beautiful place with the grand peaks of Pillar and Great Gable watching over. The legendary Alfred Wainwright loved this place so much he requested his ashes to be scattered here, and indeed they were. The tarn is only a short walk from the main summit of Haystacks to the north west.
