Low Water
Elevation: 547m (1795ft) Depth: 46ft Apx
Location: Coniston Old Man
This natural tarn is surround by beautiful rocky scenary, thanks to the north face of Coniston Old Man. It was used at one time to supply power and water to the coppermines in the valley below. It once had a dam at the outflow to enlarge the tarn, but has since been destroyed and reverted back to its natural size.
