| The Norfolk Broads is geologically completely different to the Lake District (we used to live here which is probably why we like the mountains so much!). With no hills or exposed rock, the views are not as extensive as they are in the mountains, but some places do offer a unique view over the marshlands and waterways. The Broads is part of the National Park family. It is a beautiful place to see plenty of wildlife and to relax. Boating can be a good way of exploring the Broads, but the mistake that 99% of people make is they stay on board! Get off and explore the countryside, don't be confined to a floating caravan! There are hundreds of miles of public right of ways allowing the walker to explore almost every inch of this National Park. Below is a mini database of photos divided into sections.
