| Birkhouse Moor is usually climbed en-route to Helvellyn from Glenridding. Frequently the fell is walked along from Patterdale to get to the Hole in the Wall at the start of Striding Edge and the summit is missed altogether. This is a shame as from the summit the view of Striding Edge, Helvellyn and Catstye Cam is wild and exciting. | ||
