Catbells
Wainwright - The North Western Fells
Height: 451m (1480ft)
Catbells is one of the most popular fells in the Lake District thanks to its superb views and easy access from Keswick. Most walkers climb the fell from the northern side, over Skelgill Bank and up to the summit. Although a simple route, it is none the less the best route of ascent for this small fell. For walkers seeking solitude, my advice would be to walk elsewhere.
