Wainwright - The Eastern Fells |
| Height: 537m (1762ft) |
| Great Mell Fell is a rounded hill of moderate height in the north eastern lakes. It is not a popular fell and probably mostly climbed by people completing the Wainwrights. The views from the summit are grand though, with a great panorama of Blencathra to the north west, and the pennines to the east. The summit cairn sits on top of an ancient Tumulus. |
