| Mungrisdale Common is possibly the most unremarkable summit in the whole of lakeland. It is just a grassy plateau on the northern shoulder of Blencathra, with a small cairn marking the summit, but it is still a lovely place to visit. On a sunny, clear day you can see a fair amount of Central Lakeland and also the higher peaks north of Skiddaw. | ||
